The Lion came ROARING
The roaring lion of March came a day early to Ketchikan, Ak. It actually started late Friday and early Saturday with a wet,wet snow and ended mid-morning with what skiers call great powder. It dumped about 4", before it cleared off and Ketchikan had one of the most gorgeous day that we've had in some time. I was so glad that I had brought my camera with me. Because I took advantage of a slow day of taxi driving, to capture some real great photos. The opportunities were there until sunset, and I took as many as I could. Be sure to check them out, I believe you'll enjoy them also.
Today was a different story. With it being clear and cold last night, it put a nasty glare on the roads this morning and then it started to rain and it quickly turned into a near blizzard for the majority of the day, which was great for cabbing today AAAHHH!! The snow just kept on falling and then it warmed a little and turned to what Ketchikan is known for "RAIN". It turned most of the roads to sheets of ice, then to slush by the end of my day. I kept telling myself all day "March comes in like a Lion, out like a Lamb, and I sure hope it's true. Now, after working 12 hrs. I must go shovel the walkway and the deck. Till next time. K-townking
