As the "Dog Days of Summer" approach, these two seem to have the right idea. Just kick back and watch the tourist go by from their birds eye view in the historical Bayside Hotel. The hotel is in the process of being remodeled and has been a K-town landmark since around 1924. It's located next to Ketchikans infamous "Redlight District".
These "cool" pooches, decked out in sunglasses, have to be two of the most photographed residents in Ketchikan. Every time I happen by, there's always folks looking up and pointing at them with smiles on their faces. So, when your walking around K-town and are by the "Creek", look for the yellow and green building, take a look at the second floor and you too, can go away with a smile on your face. Till next time; K-townking
